Below are some great testimonials from my speeches last year at my Alma mater Western Illinois University. In addition, for anyone looking to retain my speaking services, I also have a high quality video of my speech for review, please request at email.
RON SHERGA current events:
This year 2011, I have been fortunate enough to be an advisor at some workshops with leading Fortune 500 companies; Sabic Innovative Plastics , PepsiCo and Georgia-Pacific . I would like to recommend a firm that is a leader in creating innovative strategies and developing processes to implement those innovations.
I will be moderating and speaking at the ISRI Conference in Los Angeles, Ca. on April 6-10,2011 at the Los Angeles convention center. This is a must attend event for anyone seeking to further understand recycling and materials recovery across a broad spectrum of materials. ISRI events provide a key networking and learning forum for the C level executive or the sales and procurement department.
I also want to acknowledge my relationship with The Gerson-Lehrman Group out of NYC. They provide access to industry leaders who can help those in the financial sector do research or clarify a better understanding of a wide range of industries and service sectors. My numerous advisory calls have made me a key roundtable member in the energy and industrials area for Gerson-Lehrman Group.
TESTIMONIALS:
Tony Lee -Global Program Leader in PCR for Sabic says; “Ron Sherga helped the team, myself and Sabic with his vast experience and connections in the recycling world.”
DAWNA ZIMMERMAN: I enjoyed his presentation and he did a great job of promoting WIU. He is very knowledgeable and articulate. His portion of the panel discussion was thought-provoking.

BILL KNOX: I shared dinner with Ron and saw most of his Quad Cities talk at the Figge Art Museum.
Ron was knowledgeable, engaging, and energetic. His take on many of the salient issues was both informed and challenging. His wide background in recyling, in particular, and in sustainability. in general, enabled him to bring together seemingly unrelated areas of knowledge to create a bigger picture of the work he does and the more challenging work that lies ahead. His is exactly the kind of presence that can motivate students and citizens alike.

CATHY NULL: I greatly enjoyed Ron’s talk. I thought he did an excellent job of explaining the scope of recycling in lay terms. I also appreciated his enthusiasm and determination to confront the issue of recycling everything and anything. Most of us think of recycling as a “good deed” when in fact the economics of recycling is what will make it a fact of life.

RACHEL GRIFFITHS: Ron Sherga’s presentation at the April 2010 Western Illinois University
Environmental Summit showcased a vision of the blending of business profits
and environmental care. Sherga is a businessman (make no mistake) and his
passion for profit, may seem unsettling to passionate environmentalists.
However, his desire to make that profit at minimal cost to the environment is
what makes him a critical voice in the corporate world. Money drives
business, as he stated, and creating a sustainable business plan that
focuses on profits as well as sustainability may well likely determine the
future of business.

ROBIN BAUERLY: I really liked how he presented to his audience. At WIU, he talked to the students and told them their fortune of attending WIU, he told them about possible employment (what companies are doing as far as recycling, etc.) and how they can participate and make a difference. At the Figge, he talked about the Quad Cities, the positive things the QC is doing, etc. I was unable to attend the panel discussion, but his presentations were positive, upbeat and engaging. He was very receptive to questions and to talk after his presentation.
I thought he did a great job and I was very appreciative of his willingness to talk to various groups and make himself available for questions and discussion. A great choice and I think the QC folks really engaged him in discussion during and after his presentation. I think they thought it was very worthwhile.
